Residential Air Conditioning

Residential Installations are a "lifestyle" choice and we offer our customers a variety of solutions

Air conditioning in the home is in demand to create a comfortable living and, more commonly, working space, to ensure temperature regulation throughout the year. Equally, heat pumps are gaining in popularity as a way of contributing to net zero while running a cost-efficient heating system in the home.

The rise in the number of people working from home means that houses are occupied during the day, making effective heating and cooling 24/7 more important.

Air conditioning contributes towards better sleep; it can regulate temperatures in spaces such as conservatories or garden rooms, and loft conversions which can often be too hot.

At Alexander Air Conditioning, we offer a range of solutions for every residential requirement.

Split Air Conditioning

The most common form of installed air conditioning is the “split” type system, so called because they comprise an indoor unit, mounted on a wall, floor or ceiling, linked to an outdoor unit (condenser), which recirculates the air in the room, cooling and heating it to meet your requirements.

Multi-Split Air Conditioning

Operating in the same way as the “split” system, the “multi-split” system enables a number of indoor units to be individually controlled from a single outdoor unit (condenser).

VRV Systems

Variable Refrigerant Volume systems are the most modern and sophisticated development of the “split” type systems.

Heat Pump Technology

Heat pump technology is installed within the majority of all air conditioning systems we supply. This will provide both heating and cooling as required economically with the advantage of energy and cost savings over some traditional central heating systems.
